Regardless of when you plan a trip to Rehoboth Beach, there are a couple local activities that you don’t want to miss out on. And families heading down the Delaware coast this October are in luck. Both the Rehoboth Beach Walking Tour and the Jolly Trolley Historical Rehoboth Tour will be occurring early in the month.
Walking tours of Rehoboth Beach are hosted by the Rehoboth Beach Museum and held sporadically throughout the summer season. Each tour begins at 9 a.m. at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, offering guests the opportunity to take a guided, leisurely stroll throughout the downtown area. Get a glimpse of local attractions, shops and restaurants you may want to visit during the rest of your stay, and learn a bit about the town’s history and the storms that have played such a major role in shaping our coast.
This month’s hour-long tour takes place on Thursday, October 6.
Another wonderful learning opportunity presented by the Rehoboth Beach Museum, the Jolly Trolley Historical Rehoboth Tour allows guests to relax as the Jolly Trolley rolls around town with a tour guide pointing out all of the area’s historical landmarks and most interesting sites.
The tour begins at Anna Hazzard Museum, winding around Rehoboth Beach to the Rehoboth Beach Museum where passengers can get off the bus and explore. This month’s tour takes place on Friday, October 14.
Both of these fun, historical tours cost $10 per person. Reservations can be made by calling the Rehoboth Beach Museum at 302-227-7310.
Once you have reserved your spot to learn and explore our seaside town, book your stay at Beach View Hotel for a relaxing vacation with a great view. We look forward to seeing you here!
