Are your kids itching for an outdoor adventure on your upcoming Rehoboth Beach vacation? Take a short trip to Cape Henlopen State Park to take part in one of their exciting evening events! The park is home to a multitude of weekly adventures including sunset kayak tours, ghost crab walks and more. This guided excursion is a chance to learn more about local history and wildlife while paddling Delaware Bay. Enjoy this evening experience with your kids, just remember to wear secure shoes and be prepared to get wet! Tours take place Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This is a beginner’s trip and is open to children age 13 and up. All paddlers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent; tandem and solo kayaks are available. For details, click here.
A relaxing evening for the whole family, take a hayride through the park and along the ocean! Hayrides take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday night and 18 people can participate in each ride. For details, click here.
Spend your evening learning about crustaceans and hunting for ghost crabs along the beach. Pre-registration is required and children are 7 and up are welcome to join the hunt!
